Vice-Chair of the Board

The Spartan Foundation is the team behind the teams and in so many ways, serving on the board and in the Spartan Foundation community is full circle and a calling for Doris. The founder of DO Philanthropy Inc. and co-founder of the Joyful Living Joyful Giving Foundation, Doris is a social entrepreneur, coach, and consultant and it is with JOY that she has been serving on the foundation board for a number of years.  

Doris has been engaged in the fundraising sector at the national and international level for 25 years. She served as Vice President of the microfinance organization Opportunity International Canada and was Vice President of Trinity Western University where she earned her MA in Leadership, Doris has been engaged with several organizations around the world and has had a front row seat to the incredible changes’ philanthropy can bring into the lives of the beneficiaries and the donors.
