I used to wonder why people would want to donate to some university athletes trying to go to school where it was most expensive (a private university where tuition is a lot higher). I used to think, if you can’t afford it, go to an affordable school. But I completely missed the boat, it’s not about making it affordable to go to school and play sports, it’s about making it affordable to go to a school where you are going to hear the word of the Lord, you are going to be challenged in your faith, and you are going to have the opportunity to receive the Holy Spirit, and build a relationship with Jesus.

I was just a person who was not headed toward Jesus, until it was made affordable for me to attend and be in an environment where God spoke to me and changed my heart - and that’s what it’s about.
