With the incredible support of more than 420 donors, including a generous group contributing to a matching fund of $442,000, we have already surpassed last year’s total and raised over $1,070,000 net! These funds directly strengthen our ability to support student-athletes through need-based scholarships, assistant coaching, chaplaincy, leadership development, and the services that shape Complete Champions.
Throughout the event, we heard powerful stories of transformation and purpose. Jordyn Matthews, Spartan women’s hockey athlete, shared how her faith journey has been shaped through her team environment and mentorship. Bev Kauffeldt joined us from Jamaica while serving with Samaritan’s Purse, and Kendell Kauffeldt spoke about how the years as a Spartan athlete and coach shaped the work they do today. Ryan Walter challenged the room with leadership insights, and Athletic Director Jeff Gamache reminded us why this community plays such a critical role in the success of Spartan Athletics.
The atmosphere in the room reflected what sets this community apart. The generosity, unity, and shared conviction that developing godly leaders matters were evident from the first moment to the last. Your support continues to open doors for student-athletes to grow spiritually, academically, personally, athletically, and in their leadership. The impact reaches far beyond the playing surface and extends into hospitals, classrooms, boardrooms, ministries, and communities around the world.
