Sam Fisher
Director
Sam Fisher is the Chief Executive Officer of Hyper Hippo Entertainment, a globally recognized entertainment company creating games that connect millions of people around the world. Based in Kelowna, Sam leads with both vision and heart, shaping a company culture that values creativity, innovation, and the people behind the work.
A proud graduate of Trinity Western University, Sam’s connection to TWU runs deep. From 1982 to 1986, he played on the Spartan Men’s Basketball team and was named MVP in the 1984–85 season. His love for the Spartan community continues today as he faithfully cheers on the team whenever they are in Kelowna and, by the grace of God, still finds himself on the court playing Masters Ball.
What stands out most about Sam is not only what he has built, but how he leads. He has a natural ability to bring people together, to see potential in others, and to create environments where individuals and teams can truly flourish. Under his leadership, Hyper Hippo has grown into an international organization, while maintaining a strong sense of purpose and community.
Sam’s journey reflects both entrepreneurial courage and a grounded commitment to investing in others.
Sam’s connection to TWU, combined with his leadership in a fast-moving global industry, makes him a meaningful addition to the Spartan Foundation Board of Directors. He brings thoughtful insight, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine desire to see the next generation of leaders equipped, encouraged, and inspired.
