Paul Verhoeff

Past Chair of the Board

Paul Verhoeff is an entrepreneur who has started several companies in his career; primarily in the travel and hospitality industry. Currently he is the Executive Chairman of ISO Canada which he founded in 2004. ISO is a services company that provide a national network of trained, compliance-assured local Service Providers for Home Depot in western Canada and commercial customers across Canada As well, Paul has been very involved in charitable organizations consisting mostly of churches and schools.  Within the churches that he has his family have been members of, Paul has served on the leadership boards. His involvement has also included helping establish new churches as well as leading new church building projects. Paul was also instrumental in the start-up of Trinity Christian School in Calgary in 1993 and was Chairman of their Board of Directors for many years as it established itself as a school that now operates classes from K through grade 9 with over 300 students. Paul and his wife Cobi have two daughters and two sons, three of which are married and living in the Vancouver lower mainland.  They also have five grandchildren.  Paul’s connection to TWU began in 1999 when his eldest daughter, Lies, began attending TWU and playing on the school’s Volleyball team.  That was the first year that TWU entered the CIS which is the top league for universities in Canada. “I have seen first-hand the fantastic impact that TWU and its athletic program has had on my daughter and now my two sons, Lance and Rudy, as well as scores of other student athletes at TWU. I started the Spartan Foundation so that it can support TWU Athletics; to be able to continue impact student athlete’s lives by helping them to be strong leaders in God’s kingdom for decades and decades to come”. Paul and Cobi reside in Fort Langley.
