Mark Friesen graduated from Trinity Western University (TWU) in 1998 from the Business faculty and played on the TWU hockey team while completing his undergraduate degree. Originally from Winnipeg, he moved out west in 1991 and currently resides in South Surrey with his wife and three young daughters. His wife, Heather, sits on the White Rock Christian Academy school board where all three of their daughters (Hannah/Georgia/Ashley) attend primary school. Mark spends most of his time managing the company he co-owns, Beyer-Brown & Associates. He has offices throughout Canada and the US with the head office in Orlando, Florida. Beyer-Brown & Associates furnishes hotels and resorts and is considered one of the top companies in the North American market. The passion that motivates Mark resides in developing leaders. From mentoring TWU students to sitting on advisory boards of several companies, Mark enjoys spending his time and resources watching and developing leaders. His most transformative years were spent at TWU and the friends that he found there continue to be a major influence in his life. One of his goals is to have his girls attend TWU and live on campus so they can experience the community and support that is so unique to TWU.
