Jeff Gamache
Trinity Western University | Director of Athletics (Spartan Athletics Representative to the Board)
Jeff Gamache has been the TWU Director of Athletics for the past three years. Prior to this position he taught different grades k-12 at both Langley Christian and MEI. At MEI he worked in Administration at both the Elementary and Middle School while also coaching grade 4-12 teams in a wide variety of sports. Jeff graduated from TWU with his teaching degree in 1995 and again in 2008 with his Masters of Leadership. While at TWU Jeff was captain of the volleyball team, an Academic All Canadian and graduated as the Scholar Athlete for TWU. After graduation Jeff was on staff with the TWU Men’s Volleyball team before moving on to coach with Fraser Valley Volleyball Club once he became a teacher.
Jeff has a passion for faith and sport integration and is fully committed to the Complete Champion Approach. His passion is to see athletes encouraged to pursue excellence in their sport, academics, relationships, leadership ability and walk with Jesus Christ. The opportunity to return to TWU and give back as the Director of Athletics is a dream come true.
Jeff is married to Jennifer, also a TWU alumnus from 1995, and they have raised three kids. The oldest two, Kaden and Emma, are Spartan volleyball players. In his spare time Jeff is an elder at his church, coaches volleyball for Fraser Valley Volleyball Club, manages the family Christmas tree farm (Fraser Fir Farm) and writes/reads books.
