Glen Lieuwen
Director
Glen is a Technology Consultant and owner of GLC Solutions, an IT business consulting organization that bridges the gap between Business and Technology. He runs a talented team of entrepreneurial business savvy technical consultants who believe strongly in community and developing the next generation of talent. Glen was born and raised in the BC Lower Mainland, and is an alumni of The Kings University, BCIT, and Lakehead University. As a technical person (aka geek) he is continually learning and believes that learning is the key to staying young(er).
With his passion for sports and athletics Glen has been able to leverage his organization to promote, sponsor and further the athletic program at various institutions and other sports-related not-for-profits in our local community. Through his children’s involvement in school and club volleyball, Glen was introduced to several TWU Spartans Volleyball players and coaches. The Spartans’ Complete Champion Approach™ resonates strongly with him as he believes it is a strong reflection of how we all should live and grow. He is a member of the Spartan’s Men’s Volleyball Staff providing technology expertise, mentorship and leadership training for the coaches and athletes.
Glen and his wife Jo have been a dinner sponsor for several years in support of our President’s Scholarship Dinners in Vancouver. Glen is involved with the mentoring and guiding of many undergraduate and post-graduate students looking to develop a career in entrepreneurship, business and/or technology (and he loves doing so over coffee). He has also worked to setup internship and co-op programs with several local secondary and post-secondary institutions, and continues to drive this forward when mentorship opportunities arise.
