Please welcome Nicole Miller to the Spartan Foundation as our new Events Assistant!
Nicole is an alumnus from Holy Cross Secondary School, and with having a passion for planning events started her own wedding and event business. She brings extensive experience in organizing events such as weddings, galas, golf tournaments, school functions, annual campaigns, and new building development campaigns.
Nicole has been witness to the impact of TWU Spartan Athletics and the Complete Champion Approach in student lives. Nicole’s husband, Matthew, has been an assistant with the Trinity Western Men’s Basketball team since the 2009-10 season and regularly communicates with many TWU Basketball supporters, coaches & alumni.
A retired professional dancer and former member of the BC Lions and Vancouver Stealth dance teams, Nicole remains active as a CanfitPro certified fitness instructor and a Barre Fitness instructor in South Surrey. Nicole also works part-time with Surrey Christian School, and in her spare time, she enjoys reading a great book, catching up with friends and spending time with Matthew and their two children.

Please welcome Alan Alderson to the Spartan Foundation as our new Director of Philanthropy!
Alan Alderson started as Director of Philanthropy, a new position within the Spartan Foundation, in February 2021. As Director of Philanthropy, he will be sharing our vision and mission, and inviting people to join us in impacting student-athlete lives and enhancing the Spartan Athletics program. He will be connecting with Spartan supporters – building and fostering these relationships and growing our network.
Alan has had a long career of leadership and coaching. He graduated from TWU after playing for three years for the Spartans Men’s Soccer team, and later became the Head Coach of TWU Men’s Soccer for 17 years!
